Data Sourcing and Provision
Our list research and development programme is driven entirely
by client need. We consult regularly with clients to ensure that
all data requirements can be met. Where any gaps in list availability
are identified, research is conducted to collect the additional
data required.
Research, development and ongoing maintenance of our lists are
central to our operation. Our systems are constantly monitored,
reviewed and improved. We have found that a multi-channel approach
to maintenance gives the best results. Our lists are maintained
in the following ways:
User Groups: Clients who purchase our data are
invited to join the 'Data User Group'. Clients using our data for
communications, marketing, accounting and administration purposes
are in regular contact with institutions maintained on the list.
When a user identifies an anomaly in the data as a result of, for
example, a 'rep visit' or direct mail communication, we encourage
them to refer this information back to us, so that the central pool
of information all users take their updates from can be modified.
Direct Mail Returns: We will fulfil mailings
on behalf of clients at our Mailing Centres. Most envelopes used
in campaigns will feature our return address, so any 'gone-aways'
are automatically returned to us. The address data can then be cleaned
and updated where necessary.
Research Team: Radical Cat employs a Research
Team to verify and maintain and develop our address record sets.
All aspects of the list including address details, telephone numbers,
fax numbers and contact details are verified on an ongoing basis.
Consumer Data: In respect of consumer data, due
to the volume, we have made a strategic decision to maintain the
data set out-of-house using specialist bureaus. We commission various
companies to fulfil specific tasks including updates from the electoral
roll, mortality, gone-away suppression files, phone-disk, PAF, MPS,
and TPS files on a quarterly basis.
